Hypertec 190456-HY handpalmsteun stof, gel zwart

The Hypertec 190456-HY wrist rest offers a compact ergonomic support designed for sustained typing and desktop use. Constructed from a soft fabric cover over a gel core in black, it provides a cushioned surface that reduces pressure on the wrists while maintaining a low profile. Measuring 465 mm wide, 70 mm deep and 18 mm high, the wrist rest is sized to align with most full-size keyboards and can be placed in front of a laptop or desktop keyboard to improve wrist posture during prolonged sessions.

Advantages

The fabric and gel combination delivers a balance of comfort and firmness: the fabric surface is breathable and gentle on skin, while the gel interior conforms to wrist contours to distribute pressure evenly. Its slim height helps keep wrists near neutral alignment to minimize bending and strain. The black finish is resistant to visible wear and integrates with a variety of workspaces. The product’s dimensions make it suitable for standard keyboards without adding significant desk clutter.

How to use

Place the Hypertec wrist rest directly in front of your keyboard so your palms rest lightly on the padded surface while typing. Ensure the widest edge aligns with the keyboard edge; position it so that your wrists remain as straight as possible and your forearms are roughly parallel to the desktop. For laptop use, center the wrist rest in front of the laptop keyboard. Clean the fabric surface periodically according to fabric care guidance to maintain hygiene and appearance.

Recommendations

Use the wrist rest as a supportive aid, combined with an ergonomic typing posture and regular breaks. Avoid applying excessive concentrated pressure in one spot for prolonged periods to preserve the gel core shape. If the surface becomes soiled, follow gentle cleaning methods for fabric-covered desk accessories.
