Hypertec 391880-HY InfiniBand/glasvezelkabel 2 m LC blauw

The Hypertec 391880-HY is a 2 m OM3 fibre optic pigtail with an LC/UPC simplex connector and LSZH jacket. Designed for high-speed networks and data centre environments, this Hypertec ProConnectLite® pigtail provides low-loss transmission and compact LC connector termination for reliable short-range links. The blue jacket offers clear colour coding for easier cable management in patch panels and cabling assemblies.

Advantages

This 2 m OM3 fibre pigtail features LC/UPC simplex termination for compatibility with standard LC ports and low insertion loss. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket reduces toxic smoke and corrosive gases in the event of a fire, improving safety in enclosed spaces. The pro-grade construction ensures stable performance and reduced signal attenuation across multimode OM3 links.

How to use

Route the 2 m pigtail from the patch panel or adapter panel to the device's LC port, ensuring connectors are clean and dust-free before insertion. Align the LC/UPC connector with the equipment port and push until it latches; avoid twisting or excessive bending of the fibre. Secure the cable in cable-management clips or trunking to maintain the minimum bend radius and prevent stress on the connector ends.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors with a fibre inspection probe before installation, maintain the manufacturer's recommended minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fibre, and store spare pigtails in protective caps or bags to avoid contamination.
