Hypertec 858607-HY netwerkkabel grijs 20 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hypertec ProConnectLite S/FTP Cat7 snagless LSZH Grey 20m (Hypertec 858607-HY) is a 20-metre network patch cable compliant with Cat7 standards. It features S/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference and RJ-45 connectors on both ends for plug-and-play compatibility in data networks. The grey LSZH jacket limits smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire while supporting high-speed wired connections.

Advantages

S/FTP construction provides individual pair foil plus an overall braided shield to reduce crosstalk and external interference. The snagless design protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The LSZH outer jacket offers lower smoke and halogen emissions compared with standard PVC. At 20 m length, the cable is suited for mid-range runs between equipment or patch panels.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your switch, router or patch panel and the other to the target device or port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal performance. For structured cabling, label both ends if required and secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For maximum performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for short to mid-length runs within racks or between nearby communication points. Avoid bending the cable beyond manufacturer-recommended radius and keep it separated from high-voltage power lines to minimise interference.
