Hypertec 858637-HY netwerkkabel rood 5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hypertec ProConnectLite S/FTP Cat7 snagless LSZH Red 5 m (Hypertec 858637-HY) is a 5-metre networking cable designed for high-speed data transmission. It features S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, and comes in red to help with cable identification in installations. The cable is intended for network setups that require reduced interference and reliable connections up to Cat7 performance levels.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Cat7 specification supports higher bandwidths for demanding applications. Snagless RJ-45 connectors reduce the risk of latch damage during installation and handling. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket enhances safety in confined or public spaces by emitting less smoke and harmful gases in case of fire.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch, network card) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal signal quality. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for applications that benefit from higher shielding and bandwidth, such as competitive gaming, streaming high-resolution video, or professional network links. Choose LSZH cabling where reduced smoke and halogen emission are required by building safety standards.
