Netwerkkabel Exertis Connect 858600 Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP) RJ-45–RJ-45 grijs 0,5 m

Exertis Connect 858600 is a 0.5 m Cat7 networking cable with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The grey, snagless LSZH jacket provides basic mechanical protection and low-smoke, halogen-free properties suitable for indoor use. The cable is designed for high-speed Ethernet connections and improved protection against crosstalk and electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding design and individually screened pairs reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, supporting stable high-speed data transmission. The short 0.5 m length is convenient for neat patching between adjacent devices, and the snagless RJ-45 boots protect the connector clip during installation. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket limits smoke and toxic gases in case of fire, making the cable appropriate for indoor installations where material safety is a concern.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of a switch, router or patch panel and the other plug to the target device or outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the clip engages to establish a reliable connection. Route the cable without sharp bends or heavy tension to preserve shielding and connector integrity. For rack installations, keep the 0.5 m length for short patch runs to avoid excess cable management.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m Cat7 cable for short patch connections where reduced electromagnetic interference and improved crosstalk protection are needed. Avoid outdoor exposure and extended pulling forces; install indoors in dry environments and follow standard network cabling practices.
