i-tec Thunderbolt 4 Intelligent Dual Display Docking Station + Power Delivery 90 W

The ITEC i-tec Thunderbolt 4 Intelligent Dual Display Docking Station with 90W Power Delivery and 40 Gbps data transfer expands a compatible notebook, tablet or iPad into a full workstation. It provides a wired Thunderbolt 4 host connection, supports a single 8K monitor or dual 4K displays, and includes a gigabit Ethernet port for reliable wired networking. The dock is supplied with an external 135 W power adapter and can deliver up to 90 W to a connected device. The product is compatible with a wide range of systems including Windows, macOS, iPadOS, Android, ChromeOS and modern Linux distributions.

Advantages

This docking station combines high-speed Thunderbolt 4 connectivity (40 Gbps) with multiple display outputs and versatile peripheral ports, enabling a clutter-free desktop setup. The dedicated gigabit LAN port ensures stable network performance, and an integrated power delivery function supplies up to 90 W to charge laptops and tablets while in use. The unit includes security and energy-saving features such as a Kensington lock slot and a physical power switch. An optional Windows-only remote management add-on enables remote control and monitoring via LAN without a host connection.

Suitable for

• Professionals who need multi-monitor setups for design, editing, or data analysis
• Hybrid office and hot-desk environments requiring secure, shared docking
• Users needing fast wired networking for large file transfers or low-latency connections
• Mobile workers who want a single connection to expand ports and charge devices

If remote management is needed, install the optional Windows remote management software and configure the device via the LAN connection following the vendor instructions.

Recommendations

For optimal multi-monitor performance, use certified Thunderbolt 4/USB4 cables and connect monitors to the DisplayPort outputs for dual 4K configurations; use the Thunderbolt 4 port for single 8K setups. To maintain stable network speeds and enable remote management features, connect the dock to a reliable wired LAN. Keep firmware and host drivers up to date, and use the Kensington lock when deploying the dock in shared or public spaces.
