The InLine® Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable is the perfect choice for network infrastructures that require high performance at an economical price. Thanks to a high-quality CCA alloy of copper-clad aluminum conductors with 40% copper content, it offers improved conductivity compared to conventional CCA cables. This reduces electrical resistance and enables stable transmission at up to 10 Gbit/s over distances of up to 10 meters.
Another advantage: the cable is 4PPOE-capable and supports PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ with up to 90 watts of power. This means that IP cameras, VoIP telephones and access points can be efficiently supplied with power via the network cable - a cost-effective solution for professional applications.The double shielding (S/FTP) minimizes interference and ensures a stable connection even in demanding environments such as data centers, industrial halls or office buildings. The halogen-free TPE jacket (LSZH) is not only flame-retardant, but also particularly flexible – ideal for installations with limited space.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a network switch, router or patch panel and the other end to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and strong mechanical stress; maintain recommended bend radius for Cat6a cables. For fixed installations, use appropriate cable management accessories such as cable ties and patch panels to avoid strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify that both endpoints and intermediate equipment support Cat6a and 10 Gbit/s where required. Avoid routing near high-power electrical equipment to reduce interference. CCA conductors are suitable for standard data applications but confirm power and grounding requirements for extended PoE/4PPOE installations, as CCA has higher resistance compared with pure copper conductors.
