InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC-kabel, 8K4K, zwart, 20m

The InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC Cable 8K4K black 20m is an active optical DisplayPort 1.4 cable designed to deliver high-resolution video over a 20 m run. It supports up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz while using standard DisplayPort connectors on both ends. The active optical construction reduces signal attenuation and preserves image integrity across longer distances than typical copper cables, making it suitable for professional displays, projectors and high-performance home setups.

Advantages

This cable provides reliable transmission of high-bandwidth video signals with minimal loss thanks to its active optical design. It supports DisplayPort 1.4 feature sets, enabling high resolutions and refresh rates for modern monitors and graphics sources. The 20 m length allows flexible device placement without repeaters or signal boosters, and the black finish integrates unobtrusively into most installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting high-resolution monitors to PCs or workstations over longer distances
• System setups where 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz display output is required
• AV installations with projectors or video wall components needing DisplayPort input
• Gaming stations where high refresh rates and low signal degradation are important

Key specifications

• Interface: DisplayPort 1.4 (connector on both ends)
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 8K (7680×4320) at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC, graphics card, media player) and the other connector to the target display unit (monitor, projector). Ensure both devices are powered and configured to use the DisplayPort input. The cable is plug-and-play for video transmission; however, verify that the source and display support the desired resolution and refresh rate and that relevant display settings or graphics drivers are set accordingly.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable. Use the shortest practical routing and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources. Confirm that your video source and display firmware/drivers support DisplayPort 1.4 features and the specific resolution/refresh combinations you intend to use.
