DisplayPort-kabel Gembird CC-DP8K-AOC-30M 30m zwart

The Gembird CC-DP8K-AOC-30M is a 30 m DisplayPort active optical cable (AOC) designed to deliver high-resolution video signals over long distances. Using fiber-optic transmission combined with internal copper power conductors, the cable supports up to 8K UHD at 60 Hz while maintaining a slim 4.5 mm diameter and durable metal connectors. It is black and intended for applications where signal integrity and EMI/RFI resistance are important.

Advantages

Fiber-optic transmission reduces the risk of EMI/RFI interference compared with traditional copper cables and enables reliable signal delivery over much longer distances (up to 100 m). The integrated copper power wires mean no external power supply is required. The cable’s extra-thin 4.5 mm diameter and sturdy metal connectors provide a compact, durable solution for installations requiring minimal cable bulk.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, workstations or media players to 4K/8K monitors and displays over long runs
• Professional AV setups and conference rooms where EMI/RFI immunity is needed
• Digital signage and exhibition installations requiring unobtrusive cabling

Key specifications

• Brand: GEMBIRD
• Model: CC-DP8K-AOC-30M
• Length: 30 m
• Connectors: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Supported resolution: up to 8K UHD @ 60 Hz
• Cable diameter: approx. 4.5 mm
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort end to the source device (PC, laptop, media player) and the other end to the display’s DisplayPort input. Ensure connectors are fully seated. No external power is required thanks to the cable’s internal copper power conductors. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it according to installation needs.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and strong electromagnetic sources near the cable. For runs longer than typical copper cables or in high-interference environments, use DisplayPort AOC to maintain signal integrity. Maximum supported distances may vary by device; consult device specifications if using lengths near 100 m.
