InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC-kabel, 8K4K, zwart, 40 m

The InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC Cable 8K4K black 40m is an active optical cable designed to transmit high-resolution video over a long 40 m distance without the signal degradation typical of long copper runs. It uses DisplayPort 1.4 protocol and DisplayPort connectors on both ends to support high-bandwidth formats, enabling resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz for compatible sources and displays. The cable is finished in black and intended for installations that require reliable, long-distance DisplayPort connectivity.

Advantages

The active optical design maintains signal integrity over 40 m while keeping cable bulk and weight low compared with thick copper alternatives. Native DisplayPort 1.4 support ensures compatibility with devices and monitors that accept DisplayPort connectors on both ends. The cable supports high refresh rates and high resolutions, making it suitable for demanding video workflows and gaming environments where display quality and timing are important.

Suitable for

• Connecting high-resolution monitors over long distances in conference rooms and control rooms
• Professional video editing and post-production setups requiring 8K/4K output
• Gaming systems and consoles where high refresh rates and low-latency display are needed
• Digital signage and exhibition installations with remote source equipment

Key specifications

• Cable length: 40 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Protocol: DisplayPort 1.4
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz (dependent on source and display capabilities)
• Product colour: Black
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort connector on the source device to one end of the InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC Cable and connect the other DisplayPort connector to the target display. Ensure both source and display support the desired resolution and refresh rate; adjust display settings in the operating system or device menus if necessary. Handle the cable gently near the connectors and route it to avoid tight bends or kinks to preserve optical performance. No external power is normally required beyond what the DisplayPort connection provides, but verify device compatibility before installation.

Recommendations

For optimal results, confirm that both the source and the display support DisplayPort 1.4 features and the selected resolution/refresh rate. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable during installation. When deploying in permanent or professional environments, test the full video mode at the installation distance before finalizing cable routing.
