InLine USB KM-switch voor toetsenbord & muis 60603I

The InLine USB KM-Switch for Keyboard & Mouse (model 60603I) lets you control two computers from a single keyboard and mouse. The device uses Border Switch technology to allow the mouse pointer to slide across the screen border, creating a seamless work area between two distinct PCs. True Transparent USB (TTU) emulation ensures broad compatibility with most USB keyboards and mice, and the switch supports both Windows and macOS systems. A 1.2 m cable provides flexible placement while the compact black housing fits typical desktop setups.

Advantages

The switch provides seamless cursor transition between two PCs via Border Switch technology and preserves full functionality of connected input devices through TTU emulation. It eliminates the need to reconnect peripherals when switching computers and supports standard USB keyboards and mice. The compact design and 1.2 m cable offer convenient placement on or under the desk.

Suitable for

• Users who operate two desktop PCs and want to use a single keyboard and mouse
• Office environments with separate workstations requiring quick input switching
• Home offices where space-saving and simplified peripheral management are needed

How to use

Connect the switch to both computers using the provided cables and plug your USB keyboard and mouse into the dedicated USB ports on the switch. Ensure both computers are powered on. Move the mouse pointer to the edge of the screen configured for Border Switch to transfer control to the other computer; keyboard input follows the active mouse focus. No additional drivers are typically required thanks to TTU emulation, but verify that each system recognizes standard USB input devices.

Recommendations

For reliable Border Switch operation, place monitors so their relative screen edges correspond in the operating system display settings and adjust mouse speed similarly on both systems. Test cursor transition after initial setup and keep cables organized to avoid accidental disconnection.
