InLine ventilatorrooster metaal verchroomd, 80x80 mm

The InLine Fan Guard Metal InLine 33378 80x80mm is a chromium-plated metal grille designed for 80 mm computer fans. It provides physical protection for the fan blades and reduces the entry of larger dust particles while maintaining airflow. The silver finish is corrosion-resistant and fits standard 80x80 mm mounting openings.

Advantages

The metal construction with chromium plating offers increased durability and surface protection. The guard prevents accidental contact with moving fan blades and helps keep larger debris away from the fan, contributing to safer and more reliable cooling. Its dimensions match standard 80 mm fan housings for straightforward installation.

How to use

Place the guard over the fan so the mounting holes align with the fan or chassis screw holes. Secure the grille using appropriate screws through the mounting holes into the fan or case. Ensure the guard is flush and does not contact the fan blades to avoid vibration or obstruction. Verify airflow direction and clearance after installation.

Recommendations

Regularly check and clean the guard to remove accumulated dust and debris. Use screws of the correct length to prevent damage to the fan motor or fan frame. If used in high-dust environments, combine with routine fan maintenance to preserve cooling efficiency.
