Interne WLAN-adapter Edimax EW-7612PIn

The Internal WLAN Adapter Edimax EW-7612PIn is a PCI Express wireless adapter for desktop computers that supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n (Wi‑Fi 4) on the 2.4 GHz band with maximum data rates up to 300 Mbps. The card includes detachable 3 dBi high‑gain antennas and a multi‑language EZmax setup wizard to simplify installation and configuration.

Advantages

The EW-7612PIn increases wireless coverage and reduces dead spots compared with standard 802.11b/g devices, offering up to four times greater range when used with 802.11n equipment. The PCI Express design provides improved bandwidth handling and lower latency compared with legacy PCI bus adapters. Built‑in security support includes 64/128‑bit WEP, WPA, WPA2 with AES, and WPS software compatibility for easier secure setup.

Suitable for

• Upgrading a desktop PC to Wi‑Fi 4 (802.11n) wireless networking
• Connecting to home or small office 2.4 GHz wireless networks
• Accessing public hotspots from a desktop computer
