Netwerkkaart Edimax EW-7811DAC

The Edimax EW-7811DAC is a compact USB wireless network card that upgrades computers to dual-band 802.11ac (Wi‑Fi 5) connectivity. Supporting maximum aggregated data rates up to 600 Mbit/s and compatible with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, the adapter adds high-speed wireless capability to PCs and notebooks via a USB interface. The device includes a directional high-gain antenna (5 dBi @2.4 GHz, 7 dBi @5 GHz) and a USB cradle with an adjustable antenna and 1.2 m cable for flexible placement.

Advantages

The EW-7811DAC delivers faster wireless speeds on the 5 GHz band (up to 433 Mbps) while remaining compatible with 2.4 GHz networks (up to 150 Mbps). Its directional high-gain antenna improves signal range and link quality for 802.11a/b/g/n/ac networks. The included USB cradle with 180° adjustable antenna and a 1.2 m cable enables optimal antenna positioning to reduce interference and improve performance. The adapter supports a wide range of operating systems and provides a hardware WPS button for simplified secure connections.

Suitable for

• Upgrading desktop PCs and notebooks without built-in 802.11ac support
• Streaming HD video and online gaming on the interference‑free 5 GHz band
• Improving wireless range and connection stability in home and small office networks
