IP-beveiligingscamera Bosch DINION IP starlight 6000 HD 1920 x 1080

The Bosch DINION IP starlight 6000 HD (NBN-63023-B) is an IP security camera designed for indoor and outdoor surveillance. It captures full HD images at 1920 x 1080 resolution and is built for low-light performance, with starlight sensitivity that allows operation with very little ambient light. The camera supports up to 60 frames per second and is available in 1080p or 720p versions. It comes in a durable bullet form factor with wired Ethernet connectivity and supports H.264 and M-JPEG compression formats.

Advantages

The camera delivers clear 24/7 imaging thanks to exceptional low-light sensitivity (minimum illumination 0.0008 lx) and an extended dynamic mode that preserves detail in scenes with challenging lighting. High frame rate support (up to 60 fps) ensures smooth video capture. The product supports both auto and manual white balance and offers a choice of high-quality lenses sold separately, making it adaptable to different surveillance needs.

How to use

Install the camera on a suitable ceiling or wall mount and connect it to a wired Ethernet network for power and data (PoE if supported by your infrastructure). Configure the camera via its web interface or compatible VMS to select resolution (1080p or 720p), frame rate, white balance mode and compression format. Choose and fit an appropriate high-quality lens if required, then aim and focus the camera to cover the intended scene. Test night-time and high-contrast scenarios to verify image quality and dynamic range settings.

Recommendations

For optimal low-light performance and detail in high-contrast scenes, use the starlight mode with an appropriate lens and enable the extended dynamic mode. Use a PoE-enabled switch or injector for simpler installation and consistent power delivery. Regularly check firmware updates from the manufacturer to maintain performance and security.
