IP-beveiligingscamera Hikvision DS-2CD2H43G2-IZS Buiten 2688 x 1520 pixels

The Hikvision DS-2CD2H43G2-IZS Outdoor IP security camera delivers 2688 x 1520 pixel resolution in a turret form factor designed for outdoor surveillance. Equipped with a CMOS sensor and a motorized 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens, the camera provides flexible framing from wide-angle to telephoto views. The model supports ceiling or wall mounting and offers a 360° rotation angle for installation alignment. AcuSense deep-learning algorithms enable human and vehicle target classification for more accurate alarm filtering, and the unit supports wired Ethernet connectivity with video motion detection for automated monitoring.

Advantages

The camera combines high-resolution imaging with a varifocal lens, allowing clearer identification at longer distances while retaining wide-area coverage. AcuSense classification reduces false alarms by prioritizing human and vehicle detections at both front- and back-end devices. A turret housing and support for ceiling or wall mounting simplify installation outdoors, and the 95.8° horizontal and 50.6° vertical viewing angles give broad scene coverage. Wired Ethernet ensures stable network connection for continuous recording at up to 30 fps.

Suitable for

• Perimeter monitoring of commercial or residential properties
• Parking lots and vehicle access points where vehicle/human classification is needed
• Entrances, loading bays and outdoor corridors requiring weather-resistant fixed surveillance
• Sites requiring flexible field of view using a 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens

How to use

Mount the camera on a suitable outdoor ceiling or wall bracket, ensuring the field of view covers the area to be monitored. Connect the device to a network switch or DVR/NVR via Ethernet; PoE can be used when available for simplified power and data over a single cable. Adjust the varifocal lens (2.8–12 mm) and rotate the turret to set the desired framing and focus. Configure motion detection and AcuSense classification through the recorder or camera web interface to tailor alarm triggers for human and vehicle targets. Record settings at up to 30 fps to balance motion smoothness and storage usage.

Recommendations

For optimal classification accuracy, position the camera to capture clear, unobstructed views of pedestrian walkways and vehicle lanes, maintain appropriate mounting height, and ensure consistent lighting where possible. Regularly update firmware and calibrate detection zones to reduce false alarms and maintain reliable performance.
