IP-bewakingscamera Axis Q1800-LE buiten 1920 x 1080 bedraad wand zwart

The AXIS Q1800-LE is a purpose-tuned outdoor IP security camera designed for reliable license plate recognition (LPR) in traffic surveillance and smart city applications. With 1920 x 1080 resolution, wired connectivity and a bullet form factor, the camera is optimized to capture sharp license plate images 24/7 and to integrate with third-party LPR software and video management systems.

Advantages

Preconfigured algorithms focus on license plates to deliver the pixel density required for accurate identification with minimal setup. The camera captures plates at speeds up to 250 km/h (155 mph) in single lanes and reaches up to 100 m (328 ft) during daylight, while in total darkness it captures up to 50 m (164 ft) or up to 100 m (328 ft) when used with the optional AXIS T90D20 IR-LED Illuminator. Robust weatherproof construction, including IK10-rated casing, IK08-rated front glass, and IP66/NEMA 4X ratings, plus an extra-long weathershield and electronic image stabilization, ensures reliable operation in harsh conditions.

Suitable for

• Traffic surveillance and highway monitoring
• Law enforcement LPR deployments
• Smart city vehicle monitoring
• Integration with third-party LPR and VMS solutions

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the camera using appropriate wall or pole mounting accessories and connect to a wired network. Integrate the camera with your chosen edge- or server-based third-party LPR software or VMS following the vendor instructions. For extended nighttime range, install the optional AXIS T90D20 IR-LED Illuminator and aim it according to the illuminator documentation. Configure image settings and LPR parameters to match lane geometry and vehicle speed for optimal plate capture.

Recommendations

Place the camera to ensure a clear single-lane view where license plates are frontal or near-frontal; use the optional IR illuminator for complete darkness and verify mounting stability to benefit from electronic image stabilization.
