IP-camera Hikvision DS-2CD1T47G2H-LIUF/SL 4mm PL — 4 MP, vaste 4mm-lens, IR

Hikvision DS-2CD1T47G2H-LIUF/SL 4mm PL is an IP camera with a 4 MP image sensor and a fixed 4 mm lens designed for standard surveillance coverage. The camera provides daytime colour imaging and automatic day/night switching for low-light conditions, combined with infrared illumination for extended night monitoring. It is intended for network video recording and remote viewing over IP networks and supports Power over Ethernet deployment where compatible.

Advantages

The camera delivers high-resolution 4 MP video suitable for identifying people and objects at short to medium distances. A fixed 4 mm lens offers a balanced field of view for entrances, corridors and retail aisles while simplifying installation and configuration. Day/night functionality and integrated IR extend operational hours, and compatibility with IP recording systems enables centralized storage and remote access.

Suitable for

• Monitoring building entrances and exits
• Surveillance of corridors and stairwells
• Coverage of retail areas and cashier zones
• Office space monitoring and common areas

Key specifications

• Image resolution: 4 megapixels
• Lens: fixed 4 mm focal length
• Day/night operation with IR illumination for low-light conditions
• Network interface for IP video transmission and remote viewing
• Power options: compatible with PoE where supported by the network

How to use

Mount the camera at a height and angle that provides the required field of view for the monitored area. Connect the camera to your network switch or recorder using Ethernet cabling; if using PoE, a single PoE-enabled switch or injector can provide both power and data. Configure network and video settings via the camera's web interface or compatible video management software, set exposure and day/night switching parameters, and adjust IR settings for optimal night-time coverage.

Recommendations

Place the camera to avoid direct sunlight or strong backlighting for the most consistent image quality. For identification purposes, test the mounting distance to ensure faces or license plates fall within the effective resolution range of a 4 MP, 4 mm lens. Integrate the camera with a network video recorder or cloud recording service for centralized storage and reliable remote access.
