IP-camera Hikvision DS-2CD26123G2-LIZS2UY/SL met varifocaal objectief 2,8–12 mm

Hikvision DS-2CD26123G2-LIZS2UY/SL is an IP camera designed for network video surveillance with a varifocal 2.8–12 mm lens that provides flexible framing and adjustable field of view. The camera supports remote viewing and can be integrated with standard NVR systems for continuous recording and centralized management. Its optical zoom range makes it suitable for monitoring entrances, perimeters and indoor or sheltered outdoor areas where both wide-angle coverage and closer detail are required.

Advantages

The varifocal 2.8–12 mm lens allows quick adaptation between wide-angle and telephoto views without changing physical position, enabling precise framing for different scene sizes. As an IP camera, it supports network connectivity for remote access, live viewing and recording to compatible NVRs. The unit is engineered for stable video delivery and integration into existing surveillance infrastructures, providing consistent image composition and operational flexibility.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and fence line monitoring
• Entrance and doorway observation
• Indoor surveillance in retail or office environments
• Covered outdoor areas such as parking lots and loading bays

Key specifications

• Varifocal lens focal length: 2.8–12 mm for adjustable field of view
• Network (IP) video output for remote viewing and NVR integration
• Suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor installation
• Adjustable framing to balance wide coverage and detail capture

How to use

Mount the camera in a location that provides the desired overall coverage, then adjust the lens to set the focal length between 2.8 mm and 12 mm until the target area is framed correctly. Connect the camera to the network and configure network settings and user access through the camera web interface or your NVR software. Verify focus and field of view using live view, and adjust camera angle and zoom as needed to optimize detection and identification distances.

Recommendations

For stable performance, use the camera with a compatible NVR and ensure the network provides sufficient bandwidth for the chosen resolution and frame rate. When installing outdoors, place the unit under shelter or use weatherproof housings as required by the location. Periodically check lens focus and cleaning to maintain image clarity.
