How to use

Mount the dome camera on a ceiling using appropriate fixtures and run an Ethernet cable to your network or NVR. Choose PoE for single-cable power and data or connect a 12V DC supply if preferred. Configure the camera via the web UI, NVR UI, VIGI app, or VIGI Security Manager to set resolution, frame rate, detection rules (human/vehicle classification, line crossing, intrusion, tamper, object removal), and recording schedules. Adjust field of view at installation to ensure key areas are covered and verify night vision and Smart IR performance after setup.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use PoE to simplify cabling and ensure uninterrupted power, enable AI-based human/vehicle classification to reduce false alarms, and store recordings on a compatible NVR with H.265 support to save disk space while preserving image quality.
