Kabel-adapter USB-C ShiverPeaks BS13-40005 zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS13-40005 Cable Gender Changer USB-C in black is a compact adapter cable with USB-C connectors on both ends. It is intended to convert or adapt USB-C connections between devices and peripherals where a direct USB-C-to-USB-C link using a specific cable or orientation is required. The cable's simple design and black finish make it unobtrusive in desktop, laptop, and mobile setups.

Advantages

This USB-C gender changer provides a straightforward solution for connecting two USB-C interfaces without altering device ports. Its symmetrical USB-C connectors allow reversible insertion and reduce the need to carry multiple specialized cables. The low-profile design and neutral colour help it blend with existing equipment while maintaining a reliable physical connection between devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting two USB-C devices or peripherals when a short adapter cable is needed
• Adapting cable orientations or connector sexes in tight spaces
• Temporary or permanent setup changes for laptops, phones, tablets, docks and hubs

Key specifications

• Connector A: USB-C
• Connector B: USB-C
• Colour: Black
• Form factor: Inline gender changer cable with two male USB-C ends

How to use

Plug one USB-C connector of the gender changer into the device or cable you wish to adapt, then connect the other USB-C connector to the target peripheral or cable. Ensure both devices are powered off or in a safe state if you are connecting power-delivering ports. Verify the physical fit and orientation—USB-C connectors are reversible but should seat fully to establish data and/or power transfer. Use as a short adapter; avoid placing mechanical stress on the connectors by bending or pulling the cable during operation.

Recommendations

Use this cable gender changer for adapting physical USB-C connections only. It does not change signal protocols beyond standard USB-C wiring; compatibility with specific features such as high-wattage power delivery, alternate modes (e.g., DisplayPort Alt Mode), or proprietary vendor extensions depends on the connected devices and cables. Inspect connectors for damage before use and avoid exposing the cable to excessive heat or moisture.
