Kabel DeLOCK DL4 zonnepaneelkabel 6 mm² stekker naar bus 10 m zwart

The DeLOCK DL4 Solar Cable 6 mm² is a 10 m long black cable designed to transmit power from photovoltaic systems. It features a male and a female DL4 connector and a conductor cross-section of 6 mm², intended for reliable outdoor use with solar panels and related equipment.

Advantages

DL4 connectors provide a snap-in locking mechanism that prevents accidental disconnection while allowing release with a proper tool. The cable is designed to meet IP67 protection against dust and water ingress, supporting durability in outdoor conditions. With a conductor cross-section of 6 mm² and a 10 m length, the cable offers adequate current carrying capacity and installation reach for typical small to medium solar panel setups.

How to use

Route the cable between the solar panel and the target device (inverter, combiner box or junction) and connect the male and female DL4 connectors until the snap-in mechanism engages. Ensure connectors are clean and free of debris before mating. If disconnection is required, use the appropriate unlocking tool to release the snap-in lock. Observe correct polarity when connecting to system components.

Recommendations

Install the cable in accordance with local electrical codes and the solar system manufacturer’s guidelines. Avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain on the connectors, and verify that the IP67 seals are intact before exposure to wet environments. For higher current or longer runs consult system specifications to ensure the 6 mm² conductor is suitable.
