Vogelwering voor fotovoltaïsche installaties DELOCK 1 m, 2 stuks, bruin, 122 mm

DELOCK bird deterrent barrier for photovoltaic systems, set of two 1 m brown strips with a height of 122 mm, provides a passive physical obstruction to prevent birds from nesting, roosting or accessing the space beneath and around solar panels. The barriers are designed for use with rooftop and ground-mounted PV arrays and help protect modules, frames and cabling from droppings and damage without using electrical components or active deterrence methods.

Advantages

The barrier offers a durable, low-maintenance solution that reduces the need for frequent cleaning and potential repair caused by bird activity. Its neutral brown color integrates with most rooftop surfaces and array frames, while the 122 mm height creates an effective physical gap management feature. Being a passive device, it does not require power, wiring or ongoing operational costs and can be installed with basic tools.

How to use

Position the barriers along the exposed edges or gaps between panels and mounting rails where birds are likely to enter or nest. Trim to length if necessary and fix each strip using appropriate fasteners compatible with the roof or mounting structure; follow standard rooftop safety procedures during installation. Ensure the barrier sits flush to form a continuous obstruction and check for gaps that could allow bird access. No electrical connection is required.

Recommendations

For best results combine the barrier with routine visual inspections and roof maintenance. Use corrosion-resistant fasteners suitable for the installation environment and avoid obstructing panel ventilation or drainage paths. Periodically inspect and clear any debris accumulated at the barrier to maintain effectiveness.
