Kabel-Gender-Changer ShiverPeaks BS75006-MS-SET

The ShiverPeaks BS75006-MS-SET is a compact RJ-45 cable gender changer designed to join or convert Ethernet cable connectors quickly and reliably. Finished in white with gold-plated contacts, it provides stable signal transmission and improved corrosion resistance compared with standard contacts. The adapter enables simple gender conversion between RJ-45 plugs and jacks without rewiring or crimps, making it a practical accessory for temporary or permanent network adjustments.

Advantages

The adapter offers gold-plated contacts that reduce contact resistance and improve long-term reliability. Its small form factor allows placement in tight spaces and neat cable runs. The white housing provides a neutral appearance that blends with common networking environments. The device requires no tools or additional components to change the connector gender, enabling fast reconfiguration of existing Ethernet cables.

Suitable for

• Extending or connecting two RJ-45 patch cables of the same or different gender
• Temporary network setups and troubleshooting in offices or server rooms
• Home networking where cable gender mismatch needs a quick fix
• Installing or reconfiguring networking components without replacing cables

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 female-to-female gender changer
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Housing color: white
• Form factor: compact inline adapter suitable for tight cable runs
• Compatibility: suitable for standard Ethernet twisted-pair cables

How to use

To use the gender changer, align each RJ-45 plug with the adapter’s sockets and insert until the plug latches engage. Ensure the connector orientation matches the adapter ports to prevent misalignment. The device is passive and requires no power; it straightforwardly bridges the wiring of two compatible Ethernet cables to restore continuity or change connector gender.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the adapter with cables of the same category rating where possible and avoid placing undue strain on connectors. Keep the adapter away from sources of mechanical stress and avoid repeated unplugging under load. Periodically inspect the gold-plated contacts for debris and clean gently if necessary to maintain reliable connections.
