Kabel Mini DisplayPort naar HDMI Type-A Kramer Electronics C-MDP/HM/UHD-6

The Kramer C-MDP/HM/UHD-6 is an active Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Type A cable that connects Mini DisplayPort™-equipped PCs, laptops or other sources directly to HDMI displays without extra adapters. The cable performs true signal conversion when the source does not support DP++ and works with both DisplayPort single-mode and dual-mode outputs. It supports UHD resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) and HDCP 2.2 for protected content playback.

Advantages

As an active converter cable, the Kramer C-MDP/HM/UHD-6 ensures reliable conversion from Mini DisplayPort to HDMI without relying on source DP++ support. It supports high-resolution 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) video and HDCP 2.2, and its 1.8 m length provides practical reach for typical desktop and AV setups. The single-cable solution eliminates the need for separate adapters and additional cabling.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or desktops with Mini DisplayPort outputs to HDMI monitors or TVs
• Home entertainment setups requiring 4K@60Hz video playback
• Office or classroom presentations from Mini DisplayPort-equipped devices
• AV installations where a compact, active conversion cable is preferred

Key specifications

How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort end to the source device and the HDMI Type A end to the display. Ensure the display is set to the correct HDMI input and power on both devices. If the source does not support DP++, the cable performs active conversion automatically. Adjust the display resolution and refresh rate in the source device settings to match the desired 4K@60Hz output if supported.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use with displays and source devices that explicitly support 3840×2160 at 60Hz and ensure HDMI input firmware supports HDCP 2.2. Avoid excessive cable bending and keep connections secure to maintain signal integrity.
