Kabeladapter DeLOCK 88710

The DeLOCK 88710 Cable Gender Changer adapts coaxial and radio-frequency cable connectors by converting male to female or female to male. It has a gold-coloured, gold-plated finish intended to improve contact conductivity and resist corrosion while providing a compact and lightweight solution for joining compatible RF components and cables.

Advantages

The adapter provides connector gender conversion without changing cable routing or equipment. Gold plating improves electrical contact and helps protect against corrosion. Its small size and low weight make it suitable for tight installations and portable setups.

Suitable for

• Converting connector gender on radio frequency and coaxial cables
• Joining devices and cables with mismatched male/female connectors
• Temporary or permanent connector adaptations in home or office AV and RF setups
• Field or laboratory use where compact adapters are needed

How to use

Identify the connector genders on the two components or cables you need to join, then attach the adapter by screwing or inserting the matching connector ends until they are secure. Ensure connections are tight but avoid over-tightening. Verify signal continuity after installation and reposition or replace the adapter if signal degradation occurs.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only with compatible RF or coaxial connector types and avoid exposure to excessive moisture or mechanical stress. For critical or high-frequency applications, test signal performance after installation and consider using professionally specified adapters if necessary.
