Kabeladapter DVI-D zwart Techly IADAP-DVI-HDMI-F

The Techly IADAP-DVI-HDMI-F is a DVI-D to HDMI female gender changer designed to adapt a DVI-D output to an HDMI input. The adapter has a black exterior and gold-plated connector contacts to support reliable signal transmission and resist corrosion. It serves as a compact accessory to bridge devices with DVI-D connectors to HDMI-equipped displays or input devices without requiring a full cable replacement.

Advantages

The adapter provides a simple physical conversion between DVI-D and HDMI connectors while maintaining a compact footprint. Gold-plated contacts improve contact quality and reduce oxidation over time. Its neutral black finish makes it unobtrusive when used with a range of devices and cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a device with a DVI-D output to a monitor or TV with an HDMI input
• Adapting existing DVI-D cables to HDMI display ports
• Short-term setups where replacing cables is impractical

Key specifications

• Connector 1: DVI-D
• Connector 2: HDMI (female)
• Product colour: Black
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts

How to use

Insert the DVI-D male connector from the source device into the adapter's DVI-D female side or connect the adapter to the DVI-D cable end as needed, then plug an HDMI cable into the adapter's HDMI female port toward the display. Ensure connectors are aligned and seated without force. Verify display settings on the source device to match the output resolution and refresh rate supported by the connected HDMI display.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for signal-type compatible connections only; DVI-D carries digital video but does not provide audio over the DVI link, so a separate audio connection is needed if sound is required via the HDMI display. Avoid excessive bending or strain on the connectors and keep contacts clean to maintain signal quality.
