Kabeladapter ShiverPeaks BS10-60001

The ShiverPeaks BS10-60001 is a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort gender changer designed to adapt a Mini DisplayPort output to a DisplayPort input. The adapter features gold-plated contacts to promote reliable signal transfer and resistance to corrosion. Its compact, black housing provides a discreet connection solution for laptops, graphics cards and docking stations when a simple gender change between Mini DisplayPort and DisplayPort is required.

Advantages

The adapter's gold-plated contacts improve electrical conductivity and reduce signal loss. The small form factor minimizes cable clutter and enables easy placement in tight setups. A neutral black finish ensures visual compatibility with a wide range of devices and monitor setups, while the gender changer format allows reusing existing DisplayPort cables without replacing them.

Suitable for

• Connecting a Mini DisplayPort-equipped laptop or graphics card to a DisplayPort monitor
• Adapting a Mini DisplayPort output to existing DisplayPort cables
• Temporary workstation setups, meeting rooms, or home offices requiring quick adapter use

Key specifications

• Connector 1: Mini DisplayPort
• Connector 2: DisplayPort
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Colour: Black housing
• Form factor: Gender changer adapter (MiniDP to DP)

How to use

Insert the Mini DisplayPort side of the gender changer into the Mini DisplayPort output on your source device. Connect an existing DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort side of the adapter and then to the monitor or DisplayPort input. Ensure both devices are powered and set the display input to the appropriate DisplayPort source. No additional drivers are required for standard video signal pass-through.

Recommendations

Use the adapter with high-quality DisplayPort cables to preserve video and audio signal integrity; avoid excessive bending or strain at connector points and disconnect by pulling the adapter housing rather than the cable to reduce wear on the contacts.
