Kabelbeschermingsslang DeLOCK 20800 geel

The DeLOCK 20800 cable sleeve in yellow is a braided sleeve made from aramid fibers designed to protect and organize cables, tubes and wires. It offers high temperature resistance with an operating range from -170 °C to 250 °C, high tensile strength and abrasion resistance for use in demanding electrical and machinery environments.

Advantages

The braided construction provides high flexibility and stretchability, allowing the sleeve to accommodate multiple cables or wires of different diameters while protecting them from excessive bending. The aramid fibers deliver excellent load-bearing capacity, heat resistance and long-term durability under mechanical stress.

Suitable for

• Organizing and protecting cable bundles in electrical installations
• Protecting hoses and wires in machinery and industrial equipment
• Use in high-temperature or harsh environments where abrasion resistance is required

How to use

Slide the braided sleeve over the cable bundle, tube or wire to be protected; the sleeve's stretchability allows easy installation over connectors or grouped cables of varying diameters. Trim the sleeve to the required length with appropriate cutting tools and secure the ends with heat shrink tubing, cable ties or adhesive tape where additional strain relief is needed. Ensure the sleeve covers the areas exposed to abrasion or bending.

Recommendations

For best results, select a sleeve diameter that comfortably fits the cable bundle with some allowance for expansion. When used near extreme temperatures or sharp edges, combine the sleeve with additional protective measures such as edge guards or insulated clamps to prolong service life.
