Kabelbeschermslang DeLOCK 20787 grijs

The DeLOCK 20787 grey braided cable sleeve is made of copper fabric and is designed to provide electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) shielding and to bundle exposed cables or electrical tubes. With a 6 mm diameter and 2000 mm length, it offers conductive protection and operates in a temperature range from -40 °C to 150 °C, making it suitable for various technical installations.

Advantages

The copper braided construction ensures effective shielding against electromagnetic interference while maintaining excellent electrical conductivity. The sleeve is highly flexible and stretchable, allowing it to accommodate multiple cables or wires of different diameters. Its robust fabric structure provides mechanical protection against bending, weathering and minor physical damage.

Suitable for

• Network installations and cable runs
• Measuring and diagnostic equipment
• Industrial machines and control cabinets
• Bundling and protecting exposed electrical tubes

How to use

Slide the braided sleeve over the cable bundle or individual cable end and position it where EMC shielding or mechanical protection is required. The sleeve's elasticity allows it to expand to fit several cables; once in place, trim any excess length to fit the installation. For fixed installations, secure the sleeve ends with appropriate clamps, heat-shrink tubing or cable ties to prevent movement and ensure continuous shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal EMC performance maintain continuous contact with grounded connectors or grounding points at one or both ends. Inspect the sleeve periodically for wear or damage when used in exposed outdoor or high-abrasion environments and replace if the braid is compromised.
