Kabelmantel DeLOCK 20937 grijs koper polyester 1cm 2000mm

The DeLOCK 20937 braided cable sleeve is designed to shield and bundle exposed cables or electrical conduits. Constructed from polyester with an integrated copper braid, the sleeve combines abrasion-resistant fabric and conductive shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference while keeping cables organized. It measures 1 cm in diameter and 2000 mm in length and is suitable for a range of indoor and protected outdoor installations.

Advantages

The combination of polyester and copper braiding provides mechanical protection, abrasion resistance and electromagnetic shielding. The copper braid is flexible to reduce stress from bending and the sleeve itself is stretchable, allowing it to accommodate several cables or wires with varying diameters. The material composition also gives the sleeve resistance to a wide temperature range and protection against environmental wear.

Suitable for

• Bundling and organizing individual cables and wire looms
• Shielding signal and power lines from electromagnetic interference
• Protecting cable runs in equipment racks, control cabinets and machinery
• Retrofit and maintenance work where flexible shielding is required

How to use

Slip the braided sleeve over the cable bundle or feed cables through one end and push the sleeve along the length until the desired coverage is achieved. For multiple wires, expand the sleeve slightly to insert cables and allow it to contract to hold them in place. Trim the sleeve to length if necessary and secure the ends with heat-shrink tubing, cable ties or electrical tape to prevent fraying and to maintain shielding continuity.

Recommendations

Use the sleeve in applications where flexible electromagnetic shielding and mechanical protection are required. Avoid direct prolonged exposure to open flame. If higher ingress protection or continuous outdoor exposure is expected, consider additional protective routing or coverings. For optimal shielding, ensure good electrical contact of the copper braid to grounding points where required.
