Kabelverbinder Bachmann 375.500 GST 18i3, zwart

The Bachmann 375.500 GST 18i3 wire connector in black is a compact electrical connection component designed to provide a standardized GST 18i3 interface for cabling and device hookups. It enables secure mating between compatible devices and cabling systems while supporting neat and reliable wiring installations where GST 18i3 connectivity is required.

Advantages

This connector offers a standardized GST 18i3 interface that facilitates quick and consistent connections in installations using this format. Its compact black housing supports tidy cable routing and helps conserve space in equipment racks and enclosures. The design focuses on reliable electrical contact and stable mechanical engagement to reduce the risk of accidental disconnection during normal use. The connector is suitable for repeated mating cycles and integrates with compatible GST 18i3 components for predictable system behavior.

Suitable for

• Audio-visual equipment wiring where GST 18i3 connectors are specified
• Installation in AV racks, stage equipment, or fixed AV points
• Replacement or extension of existing GST 18i3 cabling runs
• Professional installations requiring standardized plug-in connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: GST 18i3 mating interface
• Color: black housing
• Application: signal and power cabling compatible with GST 18i3
• Mounting style: inline/cable connector for cable-to-device or cable-to-cable joins
• Contact design: engineered for repeated mating cycles and consistent electrical contact

How to use

Prepare the cable ends according to the conductor size recommended for GST 18i3 systems, strip insulation to the appropriate length and insert conductors into the connector contacts or crimp terminals as specified by the system requirements. Ensure correct conductor mapping and polarity before making the connection. Mate the connector with the corresponding GST 18i3 counterpart until it engages securely; verify mechanical engagement and perform a continuity or functional test to confirm correct wiring. For disconnection, release any latch or retention mechanism and separate the halves carefully to avoid damage to contacts.

Recommendations

Use the connector with compatible GST 18i3 components and follow local electrical codes. Avoid excessive bending at the cable entry and protect the connector from mechanical strain and moisture exposure. Inspect contacts periodically for signs of wear or corrosion and replace the connector if secure electrical contact cannot be maintained.
