Kabelverbinder RJ-11 ShiverPeaks BS72040-5 wit

The ShiverPeaks BS72040-5 White wire connector set contains five male RJ-11 plugs designed to provide reliable telephone and low-voltage signal connections. Each connector is finished in white and built to accept standard four-conductor telephone cables, offering a compact, insulated housing and gold-plated contacts for consistent contact and low resistance. The pack is intended for installers and home users who need to terminate or replace RJ-11 ends quickly and with predictable electrical performance.

Advantages

These RJ-11 male connectors deliver a secure mechanical fit and stable electrical contact suitable for telephone lines, modems, and certain low-voltage data links. The gold-plated contact surfaces reduce oxidation and improve conductivity over time. The insulated plastic housing protects the connection and provides strain relief where the cable enters the plug. The connectors are supplied in a small pack of five to support multiple terminations or spare replacements.

Suitable for

• Terminating or replacing RJ-11 telephone handset and wall-panel leads
• Connecting analog telephone sets, ADSL filters, and fax machines
• Low-voltage signal connections in small office or home environments

Key specifications

• Connector type: male RJ-11 (4P4C compatible)
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Housing color: white, insulated plastic body
• Pack quantity: five connectors
• Cable compatibility: standard 4-conductor telephone cable

How to use

Strip the cable jacket and expose the individual conductors to the recommended length for RJ-11 termination. Align the conductors in the correct order and insert them fully into the connector until they reach the contacts. Using an appropriate crimping tool designed for RJ-11 plugs, crimp the plug firmly to secure both the conductors and the strain-relief section of the housing. Verify the connection visually and, if available, test continuity with a telephone line tester or multimeter to ensure correct contact and polarity.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use a compatible RJ-11 crimp tool and ensure proper wire ordering before crimping. Avoid using these connectors on high-voltage or Ethernet-grade cabling; they are intended for telephone and low-voltage signal applications. Store unused connectors in a dry environment to prevent contamination of the contact surfaces.
