How to use

Remove the cap and hold the pen at a comfortable angle to the writing surface to achieve both thin and thick lines. Use light pressure for fine strokes and increased pressure for broader strokes, keeping hand movements steady for consistent letterforms. For extended use, store the pen horizontally or with the cap securely closed to prevent drying. Test the pen on scrap paper to adjust angle and pressure before working on final pieces.

Recommendations

The PENTEL SES15C-N performs best on smooth, moderately absorbent papers designed for markers or calligraphy. Avoid heavy textured or highly absorbent papers that can cause feathering. When combining with water or water-based media, allow ink to dry between layers to prevent smudging. Keep capped when not in use to maintain tip condition and ink flow.
