Kantenklem Bessey KT5-1CP – hoekklem voor plaatverbindingen en verlijmingen

Bessey KT5-1CP edge clamp is a compact corner clamp engineered to hold workpieces at a precise 90° angle for panel joining, edge gluing and small assembly operations. The clamp secures two mating edges during adhesive curing or mechanical fastening, ensuring consistent joint alignment and stable contact pressure. Designed for woodworking, carpentry and furniture assembly, its form factor allows fast positioning on corners and edges without obstructing access to the joint.

Advantages

The Bessey KT5-1CP provides reliable right-angle holding with a compact footprint that fits into tight assemblies. Its construction maintains steady clamping pressure during glue curing or screw insertion, reducing movement and misalignment. The clamp’s easy placement and removal speed up repetitive joining tasks, while its design minimizes interference with tools and fasteners at the joint.

Suitable for

• Edge gluing of panels and boards
• Joining cabinet and furniture corners
• Fixture during adhesive curing
• Holding parts for screw or dowel fastening
• Small carpentry and model-making tasks

Key specifications

• Function: Corner clamp for 90° alignment
• Application: Edge joining and assembly of panels and boards
• Form factor: Compact, suitable for tight corners and edges
• Material characteristics: Durable clamping components designed for workshop use
• Operation: Manual placement and tightening for temporary holding

How to use

Place the clamp so that each jaw contacts one of the edges to be joined, aligning the faces to form a right angle. Apply the clamping pressure until the joint surfaces are held flush and square, then perform adhesive application or drive fasteners as required. Keep the clamp in position for the recommended cure time of the adhesive or until mechanical fastening is complete. Remove the clamp carefully to avoid disturbing the joint.

Recommendations

Use the clamp on clean, dust-free edges and check alignment visually before the adhesive sets. For delicate surfaces, consider protective pads between the clamp jaws and the workpieces to prevent marking. Do not exceed reasonable manual torque when tightening to avoid damaging thin panels.
