Kensington ClickSafe universeel combi-laptopslot

The ClickSafe® Universal Combination Laptop Lock from Kensington secures laptops with any security slot type, including standard T-bar, Nano and Wedge-Shaped slots. Designed by Kensington, a long-established manufacturer of laptop security solutions, this lock provides a straightforward way to protect devices across brands and generations.

Advantages

The universal head fits standard T-bar, Nano and Wedge-Shaped laptop security slots, eliminating the need to choose a model for each laptop type. ClickSafe® one-click locking technology lets you attach the lock head with one hand in a single click. The 1.8 m (6 ft) carbon steel cable with a plastic sheath resists tampering while remaining relatively lightweight and flexible. A pivot-and-rotate hinge on the cable enables flexible movement and positioning. The lock is verified and tested to meet high industry standards for strength and mechanical durability. A two-year warranty is included.

How to use

Insert the ClickSafe® lock head into the laptop security slot until it clicks into place, using one hand if needed. Loop the 1.8 m carbon steel cable around a fixed, immovable object and secure the free end according to the combination instructions. Adjust the pivot-and-rotate hinge for optimal positioning. Set and record the combination following the included instructions and verify the lock engages and disengages correctly before leaving the laptop unattended.

Recommendations

For best results attach the cable to a solid, immovable anchor point and periodically check the combination and mechanical parts for wear. Keep the combination code in a secure place separate from the laptop. The lock provides strong deterrence and resistance but should be used as part of a layered security approach.
