Keystone-module ShiverPeaks S/CONN 08-10006 plat zwart RJ-45

The ShiverPeaks S/CONN 08-10006 Keystone module is a flat, single-port RJ-45 insert designed for use in modular wall plates and patch panels. Finished in flat black, this keystone module provides a compact footprint and a straightforward Ethernet interface for structured cabling installations. It is supplied as a single unit and intended for straightforward mechanical and electrical integration into keystone openings.

Advantages

The flat design reduces protrusion from faceplates and enables a neat, low-profile appearance in residential and commercial cabling installations. The RJ-45 interface supports standard Ethernet connectors, offering compatibility with common network cables and jacks. The black finish minimizes visible dirt and blends with dark faceplates, while the single-module format simplifies replacement and customization of outlet configurations.

Suitable for

• Modular wall plates and surface-mount boxes
• Small office and home network outlets
• Patching panels where low-profile modules are required
• Retrofit installations to update or replace individual ports

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 single port
• Form factor: flat keystone module
• Color: flat black
• Quantity: single unit
• Mounting: standard keystone snap-in for compatible faceplates and panels

How to use

Insert the module into a compatible keystone opening until it snaps into place, ensuring the front face is flush with the surrounding plate. Terminate the network cable to the RJ-45 connector following the applicable wiring standard (for example T568A or T568B) and verify continuity with a cable tester. When replacing an existing module, gently release the snap clips and pull the module out before installing the new one.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the keystone module with shielded or unshielded twisted-pair cables appropriate for the desired network speed and maintain correct pairing and termination. Avoid excessive cable bending near the termination point and ensure the surrounding faceplate and panel provide secure mechanical support.
