InLine Keystone RJ45-bus, afgeschermd, Cat.6A, oranje 8-pack

The InLine Keystone RJ45 jack is a shielded Cat.6A keystone module supplied as an orange 8-pack for easy identification in patch panels and network cabinets. It has a flat construction with dimensions 16.5 mm (width) x 39.5 mm (depth) x 21.6 mm (height) and is intended for reliable data transmission in Cat.6A installations.

Advantages

Shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and helps maintain signal integrity for high-speed Cat.6A links. The coloured front (orange) enables fast visual identification of network segments or services. The compact, flat design fits standard keystone panels and outlets while the eight-piece pack provides multiple ports for small installations or replacements.

Suitable for

• Cat.6A structured cabling in offices and data closets
• Patching panels and patch boxes
• Upgrading or expanding existing network ports
• Applications requiring shielded RJ45 terminations

How to use

Terminate the keystone jack according to the wiring standard in use (TIA/EIA 568A or 568B). Insert the cable conductors into the IDC or solder contacts provided, secure the shield connection to the jack’s metal housing, and snap the module into a compatible keystone panel or faceplate. After installation, verify continuity and performance with appropriate network testing equipment to ensure Cat.6A compliance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the keystone jacks with shielded twisted-pair cabling and ensure the shield is continuously grounded through the patch panel and chassis. Avoid sharp bends and excessive cable tension near the termination point.
