Koepeltent Grand Canyon CARDOVA 1 alu olijfgroen — 1–2 personen

The Grand Canyon CARDOVA 1 Alu in olive green is a compact dome tent designed to accommodate one to two people. Its lightweight aluminum pole structure and modest footprint make it suitable for solo hikers or couples on short trips. The tent provides a sheltered sleeping area with basic ventilation and straightforward setup, intended for camping, backpacking, and weekend outdoor use where portability and simplicity are priorities.

Advantages

The tent's aluminum poles offer a balance of strength and low weight, helping to reduce carrying load without compromising stability. The dome design provides efficient internal space and sheds rain effectively. Its compact packed size fits easily into a backpack, and the single-door layout simplifies access while maintaining a small footprint. Fabric and construction prioritize quick drying and basic wind resistance for typical trekking and casual camping conditions.

Suitable for

• Solo hikers and backpackers seeking a lightweight shelter
• Couples on short overnight trips or weekend camping
• Cycle touring and minimalistic outdoor travel
• Festival camping and short excursions where compact size is needed

Key specifications

• Capacity: 1–2 persons
• Frame material: aluminum poles for reduced weight
• Design: dome-shaped for internal volume and rain runoff
• Door configuration: single entry point with vestibule space
• Ventilation: passive vents designed for basic airflow
• Packed size: compact for backpack carry and storage
• Intended use: three-season casual camping and backpacking

How to use

Choose a level, debris-free campsite and lay out the footprint or groundsheet if available. Assemble the lightweight aluminum poles and insert them into the corresponding sleeves or clips, raising the dome structure. Attach the rainfly and secure all guylines and stakes to maintain tension and weather resistance. Allow vents to remain partially open for airflow. For takedown, reverse the assembly steps: remove stakes and guylines, take off the rainfly, lower the poles, and fold the tent neatly for packing.

Recommendations

Use a groundsheet to extend fabric life and improve moisture protection; apply guylines in windy conditions to increase stability. Regularly dry the tent before long-term storage to prevent mildew. For extended or extreme conditions, consider a larger or more rugged shelter designed for four-season use.
