Krimpkous CellPack 144368, 100 cm lengte, verpakking per stuk

CellPack 144368 is a heat-shrink tubing designed for electrical insulation and cable protection. The single-piece tube has a nominal length of 100 cm and is suitable for covering soldered joints, insulating wire connections and providing a protective layer against abrasion and moisture. The product is intended for use in automotive, industrial and household electrical work where a flexible, shrinkable insulating sleeve is required.

Advantages

This heat-shrink tubing provides a reliable insulating barrier that conforms tightly to cables and connectors after shrinking. Its flexible material allows application on curved and irregular surfaces while maintaining resistance to mechanical wear and light moisture. Supplied as one continuous 100 cm piece, it simplifies cutting to required lengths and reduces the number of joints in cable harnesses.

Suitable for

• Insulating soldered or crimped joints on wires and cables
• Protecting wires from abrasion in harnesses and conduits
• Sealing cable ends against light moisture and dust
• Color-coding and organizing wiring in automotive and household installations

Key specifications

• Type: Heat-shrink tubing
• Length: 100 cm (single continuous piece)
• Material properties: Flexible, shrinkable polymer (heat-activated)
• Function: Electrical insulation and mechanical protection
• Applicable environments: Automotive, industrial and household electrical installations

How to use

Select a section of tubing slightly longer than the area to be insulated. Slide the tubing over the joint or wire so it fully covers the exposed conductor and overlap both ends onto the intact insulation. Apply even heat using a heat gun, hot air tool or lighter, maintaining a safe distance and moving the heat source to avoid overheating; the tubing will shrink and conform to the shape of the underlying cable. Allow the tube to cool and inspect the coverage and adhesion before returning the assembly to service.

Recommendations

When shrinking, keep the heat source moving and maintain a consistent distance to prevent scorching. For environments with higher moisture exposure, choose additional sealing measures if required. Cut the tube with a clean, sharp blade for neat edges and accurate sizing. Other lengths are available on request if a different continuous length is needed.
