Krimpkous DeLOCK 18975 zwart 1 m

The DeLOCK 18975 heat shrink tube is a 1 m long black polyolefin sleeve with a maximum diameter of 1.2 cm. It is designed to insulate and protect cables, wires and electrical tubing from abrasion, moisture and mechanical damage. The tube shrinks when heat is applied, forming a tight protective layer around the conductor.

Advantages

The polyolefin material provides reliable electrical insulation and resistance to environmental influences. Its 1 m length and 1.2 cm maximum diameter make it suitable for a variety of cable sizes. The black colour offers discreet appearance and basic UV resistance. Application requires only heat to achieve a secure, form-fitting coverage.

Suitable for

• Insulating individual wires and cable joints
• Protecting exposed connectors and terminals
• Repairing damaged cable sheaths
• Bundling and organizing cable runs

How to use

Slide the heat shrink tube over the cable or joint so it fully covers the area to be protected. Apply heat evenly along the length of the sleeve using a heat gun, lighter or similar heat source until the tube has fully shrunk and formed a tight fit around the cable. Allow the sleeve to cool before handling.

Recommendations

Use a regulated heat gun where possible to avoid overheating nearby components. For electrical joints, ensure proper insulation and strain relief before shrinking. Select a shrink tube diameter that allows easy placement before shrinking but achieves a snug fit after heating.
