Krimpkous-set DeLOCK 18988 zwart 28 stuks

The DeLOCK 18988 heat shrink tube set provides insulating and protective sleeves for cables, electrical tubes and wires. Each sleeve shrinks when heated to form a tight, protective covering that reduces exposure to weather and mechanical damage. This 28-piece pack in black is suitable for a range of small-diameter wiring tasks and keeps cables organized while offering a professional appearance.

Advantages

The heat shrink tubes create a secure, insulating barrier that resists abrasion and environmental effects. With a diameter range from 1.5 mm to 5 mm and a total length allocation across 28 pieces, the set covers multiple cable sizes. The black color enables discreet installation and easier cable identification in mixed wiring environments.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting electrical wires and cable joints
• Repairing damaged cable sheaths
• Strain relief at connector transitions
• Bundling and marking cable runs in installations

How to use

Select a heat shrink sleeve with an appropriate diameter for the cable to be insulated. Slide the tube over the cable or joint, center it if covering a splice, and apply heat evenly (e.g., with a heat gun or hot-air tool) until the sleeve has fully contracted and snugly fits the cable. Allow the sleeve to cool to form a stable insulating layer.

Recommendations

Apply heat evenly and avoid localized overheating. Use a temperature-controlled heat gun for best results. For electrical connections, ensure wires are properly joined and insulated before shrinking the tube. Verify the sleeve size matches the cable diameter to achieve a secure fit.
