LANBERG Cat6-netwerkkabel PCU6-10CC-2000-BK — 20 m, U/UTP, RJ-45, zwart

LANBERG Cat6 networking cable PCU6-10CC-2000-BK is a 20 m U/UTP Ethernet cable fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for fast data transmission in home and office environments, this black Cat6 cable supports reliable connections between computers, routers, switches and other Ethernet devices. The unshielded/overall-unshielded twisted pair construction provides basic resistance to external interference while maintaining flexibility for easy routing and installation.

Advantages

This LANBERG Cat6 cable combines the Cat6 performance standard with a flexible black jacket for discreet installation. The RJ-45 terminated ends ensure immediate plug-and-play connectivity with standard Ethernet ports. The 20 m length covers typical room-to-room and office-cubicle runs without the need for additional patching, and the U/UTP construction keeps the cable lightweight and easy to bend around furniture or through cable trays.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers and workstations to network switches or routers
• Wiring small office or home office (SOHO) networks
• Patching between network devices in server closets or under-desk setups
• Temporary or permanent Ethernet installations where a discreet black cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Cable construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your computer, switch or router and the other connector into the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and reduce mechanical stress; if passing through conduit or bundles, check that bends remain within acceptable radii to avoid signal degradation. For best results, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for typical 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet links within the provided 20 m length. For installations in environments with strong electromagnetic interference or where individual-pair shielding is required, consider shielded cable types. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs are compromised.
