LANBERG Cat6 U/UTP netwerkkabel PCU6-10CU-0500-S, RJ-45 naar RJ-45, 5 m, grijs

The LANBERG Cat6 U/UTP Networking Cable PCU6-10CU-0500-S, RJ-45 to RJ-45, 5 m in grey is a straight-through Cat6 patch cable designed for wired connections in home and office networks. It provides support for gigabit-class data transfer and is intended for use where a reliable Ethernet link between devices is required. The slim grey jacket allows neat routing along desks, walls or inside network racks while maintaining a standard RJ-45 termination on both ends.

Advantages

This Cat6 U/UTP cable delivers consistent gigabit-capable performance up to 1250 Mbit/s over a 5 m length, with standard RJ-45 connectors that ensure compatibility with network switches, routers, desktop computers and other Ethernet-enabled equipment. The unshielded U/UTP design keeps the cable flexible and easy to install in confined spaces, and the neutral grey colour integrates discreetly into most environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home or small office networks
• Patch panel to switch connections in network racks
• Wired connections for streaming, online gaming and VoIP devices
• Temporary or permanent desk and workstation cabling

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 6 (Cat6) straight-through cable
• Topology: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair, unshielded overall)
• Data rate: up to 1250 Mbit/s
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device (computer, switch, router or modem) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure both ends are fully inserted until the connector latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For rack or patch panel installations, label each end if needed to maintain clear cable management.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines, and use cable ties or clips to secure the cable without compressing the outer jacket. Replace any cable that shows visible damage to the jacket or connectors to maintain reliable network throughput.
