LANDI GLOBAL M20SE/M20 communicatiebasis. Ethernet+WiFi+19V/2 - RS-232

The LANDI GLOBAL M20SE/M20 Communication Base is a desktop docking station engineered to deliver reliable connectivity and power to compatible LANDI GLOBAL M20 series terminals. Its strongest capability is simultaneous Ethernet and Wi-Fi networking, ensuring uninterrupted transaction processing in busy retail and hospitality environments. The integrated RS-232 port enables direct connection to legacy peripherals, while the 19V DC input provides stable power to the terminal. Built from high-grade ABS plastic in a sleek black finish, this base combines durability with a professional appearance. Status LEDs for power and network activity offer at-a-glance operational awareness, simplifying troubleshooting and maintenance.

Advantages

This communication base enhances terminal functionality by providing multiple connectivity options. Ethernet offers a secure, high-speed wired connection ideal for fixed POS stations, while Wi-Fi allows flexible placement without cabling constraints. The RS-232 interface supports a wide range of peripherals such as barcode scanners, scales, and receipt printers, extending the terminal’s versatility. The 19V/2A power supply ensures the terminal remains charged during operation, eliminating downtime due to battery depletion. The compact desktop form factor saves counter space, and the robust ABS construction withstands daily use in demanding environments.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect the communication base to a stable 19V DC power source and, when using Ethernet, ensure a reliable network infrastructure. Position the base on a flat, stable surface away from liquids and extreme temperatures. Regularly inspect the RS-232 and Ethernet ports for debris to maintain signal integrity. If using Wi-Fi, place the base within range of a secure access point to minimize interference.
