Lindy 20 m USB 3.0 actieve verlengkabel Type A naar C

The Lindy 20m USB 3.0 Active Extension Type A to C cable extends USB connections up to 20 metres while maintaining high-speed data transfer up to 5 Gbps. Designed for USB Type A hosts and Type C peripherals, the active cable preserves signal integrity over long distances and includes a USB-to-DC power adapter to supply connected devices when required. Screw-lock connectors and proven active electronics ensure reliable operation in demanding installations.

Advantages

This active extension supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0 / 3.1 Gen 1) data rates up to 5 Gbps, preventing signal loss across a 20 m span. The cable can be used standalone or combined with Lindy 8 m or 10 m Active Extension System Pro units for greater reach. A USB to DC adapter is included to provide additional power; typical 5 V 1 A smartphone chargers are usually sufficient, while higher-demand devices may require up to 5 V 3 A. Screw-lock connectors increase mechanical stability and maintain reliable connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting webcams and USB cameras over long distances
• Extending connections to external storage drives and SSDs
• Linking printers, scanners or other USB Type C peripherals to a Type A host
• Use in professional AV installations and workstation setups

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A
• Connector 2: USB C (peripheral end)
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0 / 3.1 Gen 1), up to 5 Gbps
• Cable length: 20 m
• Colour: Black
• Includes USB-to-DC power adapter; supports external power up to 5 V 3 A if required

How to use

Connect the USB Type A end to the host computer and plug the Type C end into the peripheral device. If the connected device draws more power than the host can supply, connect the included USB-to-DC adapter to an appropriate 5 V power source; many smartphone chargers (5 V, 1 A) are sufficient, but high-power devices such as powered hubs or some external drives may need up to 5 V, 3 A. For extended ranges, link this 20 m cable with compatible 8 m or 10 m Lindy Active Extension System Pro units as instructed by their documentation.

Recommendations

Use screw-lock connectors to secure connections in environments with movement or vibration. If device power is marginal, test with a higher-current 5 V supply (up to 3 A) to ensure stable operation and reliable data transfer at up to 5 Gbps.
