Lindy 45381 netwerkkabel blauw 20 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 (A) SSTP/RJ-45 20m Blue networking cable is a shielded Cat.6A Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission up to 500 MHz and support for 10GBase-T. The cable is 20 metres long, finished in blue, and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It features an overall braided shield plus foil shielding for each twisted pair (S/FTP) and is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 standards. The sheath is halogen-free (LSZH) to reduce smoke and toxic emissions in public spaces.

Advantages

Shielding with both braid and foil reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer corrosion resistance and consistent signal transfer over time. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and removal, while individual polybag packaging preserves the cable until use.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Wired LAN connections in offices and data centers
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and large file transfers
• Connections requiring 10GBase-T performance
• Installations in public areas where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A (S/FTP)
• Bandwidth: up to 500 MHz
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801; supports 10GBase-T
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 plug to the corresponding Ethernet ports on your network devices (switch, router, computer). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For permanent installations, secure the cable along cable trays or conduits while maintaining the recommended bend radius.

Recommendations

For optimal 10GBase-T performance, keep cable runs within recommended maximum lengths for Ethernet standards and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Use the cable’s shielding termination correctly at patch panels and equipment to maintain full EMI protection.
