Lindy 45649 Netwerkkabel blauw 20 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable with support for bandwidths up to 250 MHz, designed for Gigabit Ethernet (up to 1GBase-T). This 20 m Lindy Cat.6 SSTP/S/FTP PIMF cable in blue uses a braided overall shield plus foil shielding for each twisted pair, is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and features an LSZH halogen-free outer sheath.

Advantages

The cable provides stable high-speed data transmission for frequencies up to 250 MHz and is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and AV extension applications. Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and maintain reliable connectivity over time. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and removal, while the S/FTP construction (braid plus individual pair foil) minimizes electromagnetic interference. The halogen-free (LSZH) sheath reduces smoke and toxic halogen emissions, making the cable appropriate for use in public or enclosed spaces.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T) connections
• AV extension and media streaming setups
• Office and home network infrastructure
• Installations requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end of the Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP cable to your network device (router, switch, PC or AV equipment) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the snagless design protects the latch from damage during routing and removal. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and strong mechanical stress to maintain signal integrity. For in-wall or permanent installations, comply with local building and cabling regulations and use appropriate mounting accessories.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable within its 20 m length rating for Gigabit Ethernet links and keep connectors and ports free of dust. Choose the LSZH version for installations in public areas or confined spaces where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required.
