Lindy 47296 Netwerkkabel Rood 5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47296 RJ-45 Cat7 networking cable provides a 5 m connection designed for high-speed data transmission in structured network environments. Built to Cat7 specification with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and improves connector durability. Its red jacket makes the cable easy to identify within racks, patch panels and home office setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding construction offers enhanced protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors resist corrosion and maintain reliable contact over time. The 5 m length balances reach and signal integrity for typical desktop-to-switch or patch panel connections. The red outer jacket aids cable management by providing clear visual identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers within offices and home networks
• Patch panel to switch connections in small server rooms or wiring closets
• Environments requiring reduced interference for stable Gigabit links

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat7
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cable length: 5 m
• Colour: Red

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the locking tab clicks. Use the cable to link computers, switches, routers or patch panels while avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. For best performance, route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large motors or unshielded power cables.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid tight bends (minimum bend radius comparable to typical Category cable recommendations) and secure the cable with cable ties or management clips without compressing the jacket. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show significant wear.
