Luchtkoeler Sharkoon A40 RGB 12 cm wit 500-1800 tpm 121,55 m³/h

The Sharkoon A40 RGB 12 cm air cooler is a compact cooling solution designed for PC cases where a balance of airflow, noise control and visual integration is required. The fan operates between 500 and 1800 RPM to produce up to 121.55 m³/h of airflow, with a maximum static pressure of 2.9 mmH2O. The unit uses Fluid Dynamic Bearing technology to minimize friction and sound during prolonged use. The cooler is finished in white and has a slim footprint suitable for many modern chassis layouts.

Advantages

The Sharkoon A40 RGB combines adjustable fan speed with a measured airflow rating to support case ventilation and component cooling. Fluid Dynamic Bearing reduces operating noise and extends fan lifetime compared with sleeve-bearing designs. The white finish and integrated RGB lighting allow visual coordination with light-themed builds while maintaining a low-profile form factor that fits a variety of case layouts.

Suitable for

• Standard ATX or micro-ATX systems requiring improved case airflow
• Compact or mid-tower builds where a 12 cm fan is preferred
• Systems where low noise operation is desired for everyday use
• PC builds that include RGB lighting and white color themes

How to use

Install the Sharkoon A40 RGB in a compatible fan mount inside the PC case, ensuring orientation supports airflow direction from intake to exhaust according to the case layout. Connect the fan power and RGB connector to the appropriate header on the motherboard or an RGB controller, following the motherboard and controller documentation. Set the fan curve in BIOS or fan-control software to match desired noise and cooling levels, using lower RPM values for quiet operation and higher RPM values for increased airflow when needed.

Recommendations

For sustained performance, position the A40 RGB to complement existing airflow paths—intake fans should bring cool air in while exhaust fans remove warm air. Regularly clean dust filters and the fan blades to maintain rated airflow and noise characteristics. Adjust the fan curve to balance temperature targets with acceptable noise levels for the specific system configuration.
